About 3 years ago a friend of a friend wanted some kenaf seed to grow in Haiti and contacted me to find out how to get some. At that time I referred him to a contact in Florida that got him the seed he wanted. This week he calls me back wanting 50 lbs. of seed. The farmers who had grown it for food and fodder and shared it with the orphanage they support wanted more. This seed sale went to one of our kenaf partners and kenaf seed growing operation will soon start in Haiti. I love it when I can help others and show them how to be self sufficient in the future.
