It has been said that kenafcrete does not have the structural properties of cement. It has also been said that engineering has addressed this with rebar added to kenafcrete to address the structural properties need in a design application. That being said, bamboo has structural capabilities that steel doesn't have, i.e. flexibility, renewable resource and more. Brilliant minds around the world have engineered many bamboo solutions for building many things.
