Kenaf Industry Update, Issue #003 --
October 12, 2025
Hey Partner

KPUSA Annual Newsletter 2025

Nearing the end of our year, we are responding to those who have contacted me to purchase kenaf fiber and/or kenaf hurd. Getting these contracts signed for the 2026 growing season is the priority. Don’t wait for these to be finalized to get a jump start on the 2026 growing season. Three of these buyer contacts will need growers in a minimum of 8 US states to start and then ramp up to all 50 states. Once these contracts with buyers are signed, it is time for me to match with who is capable and interested in meeting the requirements of these contracts. If you are an experienced farmer/grower, now is the time to let me know what you are capable of and your requirements to supply a contract’s partial or full needs. Contact bob@kenafpartnersusa.com to get your copy of a contract where you fill in the particulars for your operation.

Prediction/Trends Based on Interest

Over the years I wake up every morning and check the statistics for the pages on the website that were visited most, what countries the new visitors are from, what pages and how they are ranked on various search engines, keywords searched for etc. Since I have seen the sense in managing by statistics (those with Kenaf Partners USA and global trends), I have added pages on different subjects related to kenaf or made changes in my operating basis or content on the website. Also, I pay attention to the questions I am asked in emails and social media. One question that was asked recently and I suspect others have the same question “what is the state of the kenaf industry”. My response was: “That is a good and very broad question. I get daily insight into kenaf activities around the world and emails mostly on supply by buyers. Kenaf is a new industry and is driven by individuals taking initiative to position themselves at the forefront. Generally speaking, kenaf is catching on and progress is occurring. I would not recommend buying 1 or more tons of seed before you have a signed contract and down payment to grow for a buyer. I facilitate this between buyer and seller. If you are interested in growing kenaf in the US we should schedule a zoom call to go over important factors to see if it meets both your requirements as well as ours”.

So here is a taste of one of these statistics of the top pages new visitors begin their discovery of a particular subject regarding kenaf. Starting at the top they are: https://www.kenafpartnersusa.com/kenaf-fiber-industry.html

Seed Supply

I know it has been a while since I have had kenaf seed in stock and do plan to have it in stock again for those that want smaller amounts less than 1 ton. At this time seed can be purchased in quantities of tons and need to be purchased before December to arrive in time for the 2026 growing season. For farmer/growers this is worked out as part of your Futures Contract. Contact bob@kenafpartnersusa.com to get started.
